Payments stay with Paddle

KairoLock does not store or process raw card details. Checkout and subscription payment handling are delegated to Paddle Billing. Once billing is active, you start a subscription from the Windows app, which opens a secure Paddle checkout page in your web browser. No website account is required.

The account is the source of truth

Reinstalling the app does not create a new trial. The desktop app asks the authenticated entitlement API for current access.
